Hey y’all, my name is Brent and I have been an outdoor enthusiast since I was born…at least as far back as I can recall. I never wanted to be inside, which was pretty difficult for my parents as a kid. I got hooked on Overlanding in my early 20’s after I rolled the first Jeep I owned into a shallow ditch, and I never looked back.
That’s not my Jeep, but it is remarkably close to what mine looked like at the time.
It wasn’t long after this that I started to write about my adventures. At first just a pseudo-blog-type thing that I only shared with a few friends. I joined a group that tours throughout the MidWest US and showed a couple of the other members….they suggested I formalize it and review products for others who want to get started themselves. So I gathered up information from friends and members and started up this site. I hope you like what I have to say and I plan to continue adding more reviews over time. Feel free to drop me a line on the contact page and offer your suggestions. If you want to write a post or 2, I would gladly take the help!
